What is acid straightening?

Acid straightening (酸性縮毛矯正) is a gentle, low-damage way to straighten hair. It works at a soft, near-neutral pH — much kinder than traditional straightening — so your hair comes out smooth and shiny, with natural movement, not stiff or flat.

Because it’s gentle, it works well even on hair that is dry, fine, or color-treated. The result is smooth, manageable hair that holds up against Tokyo’s humidity and lasts for months.
