How to Book with Kenji: Step-by-Step Appointment Guide (English Available)

This is the complete guide to booking an appointment at Kenji Hair Studio — what to do before contacting me, what information I need, and what to expect. Reading this first makes the whole process significantly smoother.

Step 1: Send a Photo First

The most important step before booking: send me a photo of your hair. Not a photo from a good day — your hair dry, unstyled, in natural light. This is how I can give you an honest assessment of what’s realistic for your hair type before you commit to anything.

Step 2: Pre-Appointment Consultation

After seeing your photo I’ll ask about your hair history — color, bleach, previous chemical treatments, current products, and what you want to achieve. This usually takes 2–3 message exchanges. I’ll also give you a price estimate at this stage. No commitment until you confirm the appointment.

Step 3: Choose Your Location and Date

All appointments are one-on-one.

Step 4: Before Your Appointment

• Wash your hair the day before — come with clean hair, no heavy products
• Bring reference photos — what you want and what you want to avoid
• Allow enough time — straightening takes 3–４ hours
