Client Story · Singapore → Ginza
Years ago I was a hairstylist in Singapore. Two of the clients I looked after there still come to see me — flying in to my salon in Ginza, Tokyo, once every year. This is the part of my job I treasure most.

My two clients from my Singapore days — back in my chair in Ginza
A bond that outlasted the distance
When I worked in Singapore, I met so many wonderful people from all over the world. Two of them became clients I’ll never forget — and somehow, even after I returned to Japan and opened my private salon in Ginza, they never let the connection go. Once a year, they make the trip to Tokyo and sit down in my chair again.
To me, that says more than any review could. Hair is personal, and trust is built slowly. To have someone choose you again year after year, across borders, is the greatest compliment a stylist can receive.
What we did this time
One wanted soft movement and a fresh color, so we did a cut with a gentle digital perm and a new color. The other kept it classic with a cut and color. Two different looks, one shared afternoon — and a lot of catching up.
Why this matters if you’re new here
If you’re a visitor or an expat wondering whether you can trust a stylist in a new country: this is exactly the kind of relationship I hope to build with you. I work one-on-one, I take time to understand your hair, and I’m honest about what will and won’t work. You can read more about my story from Singapore to Ginza, or see results from clients of many nationalities in my Before & After gallery.

Send me a photo of your hair and what you’d like. I’ll reply honestly with what’s possible and an exact price — in English or 中文. Maybe I’ll see you again next year, too.
